1. Informational purpose only

All calculators, results, formulas and content published on this Site are provided for informational and pre-design estimation purposes only. They do not constitute and must not be relied upon as professional engineering advice, electrical design, structural analysis, or any other licensed professional service.

Results are estimates based on simplified models and published standards. Real projects involve site conditions, code amendments, load combinations, material variations, safety factors and professional judgment that no online calculator can fully capture.

2. No professional advice

Nothing on this Site creates a professional–client relationship between you and Artano 1977 LLC. For any work involving life safety, structural integrity, permitted construction or licensed electrical installations, you must consult a licensed engineer, electrician, architect or other qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

References to ACI, NEC, AISC, NDS and other standards are for informational context. Local codes, amendments and authority-having jurisdiction (AHJ) interpretations take precedence. Always verify applicable codes with your local building department.

3. Accuracy and completeness

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of our formulas and to cite the standards they are derived from. However, we make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose of any content or calculation result.

Formulas may contain errors. Standards are periodically updated; our calculators may not reflect the most current edition of a given code. You are responsible for verifying that the standard version referenced is the one required by your jurisdiction or project specifications.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Artano 1977 LLC and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from your use of — or reliance on — this Site or its content, including but not limited to:

You may share links to calculator pages and quote brief passages for educational or reference purposes, provided you attribute BuilderCalc and do not reproduce pages in their entirety.

7. Third-party links

The Site may link to external resources (standards bodies, reference documents, tools). These links are provided for convenience. Artano 1977 LLC does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices or availability of third-party sites.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Delaware.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
